Furniture store
What is a good furniture store in Pittsburgh area? Other than IKEA? I am looking to buy a living room and a dining room set.

If you have a big budget, I'd check out Stickley Audi.

Stickley Audi is great!
Hint: If you get on their mailing list, you get notified of special sales, some of which are not available to the general public.
Their 4th of July sale was 40% off your first piece and 45% off a second piece of lower price.

Here are some - depending on your budget.
Low end: Levin and Roomful Express
Middle: Macy's, Pottery Barn
High: Arthaus, Weisshouse, Perlora
Don't forget about online furniture stores too (overstock and cb2). I'm pretty new to Pittsburgh, so hopefully some of the others can help you.

My advice? Pick up an old fashioned paper yellow pages and let your fingers do the walking.

Yeah, it all depends on your style and how much you're willing to spend.

I would say the furniture is functional. And, well, they do make the best chair ever ( POÄNG) ! However I wouldn't call their furniture durable outside of some of their chairs and desks.
But if your looking for big Tony Soprano-style furniture, look elsewhere.

I have a couple of Malm dressers and a couple of bookshelves from Ikea which are surprisingly good quality for what they are. I won't be handing them down to my grandchildren, but they look like what you can get from West Elm or Crate & Barrel for about a fourth of the price.

If you have a Costco membership, check them out. They don't have a lot of furniture and it can be spotty but what they have is REALLY good quality for the price. At the very least it's worth a look - I think you can get in for free for a day on a trial basis or something.
