Default Things to do within 2 hours of Pittsburgh

So my family is coming to visit and I don't know what we can do....it's going to be my parents and then my brother, his wife, and their 6 month old baby. I need something that would be fun for everyone. I've already covered the main things in Pgh I think they will enjoy but still have an entire day to fill, so I'm looking outside the city. We're willing to travel 2 hours, so let me know if you have any ideas! Thanks in advance

I'm guessing that you already considered Kennywood, so I'll say Storybook forest near Latrobe, or head North to Cook Forest.

you could go out to the ohiopyle area - there's lots of nature-y stuff to do, plus fallingwater and kentuck knob.

Fallingwater is great. You could also pick one or more of the area's charming small towns. See this thread:

Fun places to explore / historic day trips?

Go on an African Safari in Ohio:

http://www.thewilds.org/

This place is amazing, not like a zoo, with animals in wide open spaces. Not much for the 6-month-old, admittedly, except to look, but perhaps interesting for others. We took some kind of more in-depth tour where we stopped and got out for certain things, pet a rhino, etc.

I used to drive out to Columbus, see just the typical road signs (no ads or anything) for this place and wonder what it was. Finally I looked it up, and we visited a few years ago. More people should check it out. Should take just about 2 hours to get there; it's not quite to Zanesville but well off I-70.

When i was a kid my parents used to take us to Welcome to Pymatuning Deer Park - Jamestown, PA and to Linesville to feed the carp http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/01/us/01carp.html.

You could always take a day trip to Cleveland and do their zoo, art museum, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, etc.

How about Erie, it's a 2 hour drive and there are hundreds of things to do: beach, water park, zoo, shopping, boat rides, amusement park.
