Default G-20 Herd them nice and tight like cattle

While some may be happy The Fed's have axed Sen Jim Ferlo's request to use Point State Park as a center of rallying and protest leading into and possibly during the G-20 Summit. The flip side of the question is Where will large scale protesting and demonstrations be allowed or held ?
Point State Park is to be the location of the law enforcement command center. Space is needed for so called air patrols ( helicopter operations) and mass arrest.
My question is this. With the only large scale open area in the downtown now off limits for protesting and mass demonstration, are officials now forcing the protesting crowds into downtown streets? A worse case scenario for broken windows, storefront damage, and even looting.

All the news of how much of a pain in the ass the G-20 is going to be makes me wonder why they aren't having it in a self-contained location like Nemacolin. It wouldn't "show off" the city like TPTB want to, but it'd be so much more convenient for everyone.

hempfield mania is on a distinguished road
Just hope PGH police are stocking up on tear gas, tasers and bean bag bullets. Not against the protesting, per se, but when and if degrades into rioting and anarchy, I hope the police show no mercy.

I think there are expected to be something like 3000-4000 attendees of various sorts, so I'm not sure a place like Nemacolin could handle it.

Anyway, I think we'll be fine.

I don't often get to listen to radio during the day, but I did hear KDKA a couple of days earlier this week. Marty Griffin and Fred Honsberger were absolutely hammering on the whole topic of the G-20, trying to make it sound like it's going to be pretty bad, in every way imaginable.

How about across the river, in the stadium parking lots? Let the cops have the nice green grass, and let the protestors protest on asphalt...
