I've never paid for drinks while gambling out in the Vegas casinos. They were complimentary at most of the major casinos.

Don't worry. I read that they are going to be offering cheap drinks since the revenue income isn't coming in. Right now they are expecting to make about half of what was predicted.

Are you really surprised? This is the same LCB that won't allow you to buy a sixpack of beer at a gas station.

If you are gambling the drinks are free in ALL the casinos in NV. IF you sit a prive table near the bar with out a slot machine they will normally just say to you........and your gambling right........and you just say yes and leave a nice tip.

my hubby and i have gone to the new casino twice and i love it. we were able to play the penny slots for hours with only spending $20 each. even though we had to pay for alcohol i did notice that all soft drinks and coffee were free so thats not too bad. the beer was $3.75 for a small beer and $5.00 for a big beer which is a pretty good deal considering moutntaineer in wv charged me over $4.00 for a can. we ate at the west end cafe and the food was really good and cheap. i think we paid between $6-7 dollars each for a sandwich and chicken fingers. the casino has 3 other restuarants as well as 3 bars that are open right now and another one opening up in october. i have been to vegas and atlantic city and i would say this one is very close to anything you would find in other cities. i would go here just to hang out and listen to the live music on a weekend its that nice.
