And hopefully someone changes the spelling of "RESTAURANT" so they look more respectable than dumb.

I was in Oakland and someone was going around distributing fliers for an unofficial event.

"Pack Pamela's" (Oakland)
Pack the restaurant and show the world we take care of our own!
When: Sunday Sept 27
Begins at 11AM-?

"This aggression will not stand!"

While Pamela's usually doesn't need much help getting customers on Sundays, I thought it was really cool that people are actually coming together to stick up for our local places. So, if you don't have breakfast plans tomorrow - come to Pamela's and support Pittsburgh!

It's ironic considering that these people who wrote that are presumably going to college...

WHY ARE THE TWO OF YOU POSTING THE SAME PICTURE IN EVERY SINGLE THREAD!?!?!?!

It's not like we didn't see it the first time, or second time, or third time, etc.

LOL. I was going to mention that too, but figured that note as written by students, whereas the big sign may have been put up by the owners. I would hope being they own a RESTAURANT that they could spell it.

I thought it was posted as a quote (maybe?)

i figured some people were reading the pamela's thread and not the general g20 thread, based on who's posting in each thread. i only posted it twice! i don't know why benzman needs to post the picture when responding to it, but whatever.

i'm not sure what the ongoing battle about whose spelling was worse is all about though. who cares? i think it's sweet/funny that some protester is trying to apologize to pamela's. i'm sure the majority of protesters are mortified that that happened.

Only in the mind of liberals or a stupid college kids can there be a moral difference between vandalizing a "mom and pop shop" and a corporate store such a Starbucks.
