Yeah, I've had to explain to some out-of-town gay friends that while there is a Liberty Avenue, it ain't like on the teevee.

A scene for the Anne Hathaway-Jake Gyllenhaal movie “Love & Other Drugs” will be shot at the former Aliquippa Hospital.
The scene, expected to take just one day to film, will be outdoors in the rain. The crew of the Fox Studios drama will erect two temporary towers that can create artificial rain.

I'm somewhere beyond the hospital in terms of the Aliquippa Water Authority's distribution system. My water pressure already stinks. I hope they can manage more than drizzle...

I was close, so I went by there today. There was a guy cutting the overgrown grass, and four manlifts in the parking lot. (Those are the machines with an extending boom with a platform on the end for people to work from. Sort of like the electric company trucks, but designed just to be used on site.)

BTW, there have been more pictures added to the thread about Unstoppable that I linked to above.

You really should try to find out how to get a chance at being picked as an extra. Maybe it's too late for this movie, but you'll be prepared for Danzel's return!

Oh, so THAT'S why Russell Crowe was chillin' down Art's Tavern a week and a half ago. We thought it had something to do with G-20 being here or something. I guess he thought nobody was going to notice his behind in there, but boy was he surprised....lol

I personally think they should give all five of the drivers that will affect a job as an extra in the movie as compensation.
