Telemundo or Univision??
I was just curios if the local cable company carried these two channels. My cousin is moving here from St. Louis and she asked me if Pittsburgh offered these channels. I'm not really sure because I have Dish Network.

Telemundo and Univision are broadcast networks. And I wouldn't be surprised if neither (along with Telefutura) are available in Pittsburgh. I think there are about 8 people in Pittsburgh that speak Spanish as a first language.

I do not see either as an option anywhere in the Comcast listings. They do have Russian, Italian and Hindi channels as premium add-ons. (I just happen to have my bill from December with me that runs down all the possibilities as of then.) There may be a way not listed, or it may have changed, but there's nothing listed in the online lineup, at least when I put in 15222 as the zip code. Although I don't think those Russian, Italian, etc. channels are listed in the online lineup either, so there is some small hope. Probably have to call them. 1-800-COMCAST is the number. They may want an address or something, but I think over the last few years the channel lineup of the whole area has been standardized.

I'm pretty sure there's Univision pay-per-view in the OnDemand section, but I don't know if they carry the channel itself.

Well, the company is still called Armstrong, but their first cable customers were in Butler and it's now headquartered there.
Armstrong Group of Companies (company info)
Armstrong - One Wire. Infinite Possibilities. (signup info including channel lineups)
I don't know how to see where else they service. The closest place I know for sure is Cranberry.
That said, I don't see any Spanish language info in the Cranberry channel lineup, well, unless you count HBO Latino, which I wouldn't think would be quite the same but then I don't really know. You can plug in different zip codes in the second link to see if anything changes, or call them.

The local cable companies are pretty limited to what they offer, your cousin might want to consider getting a satellite TV system.

there is a very, very tiny hispanic population in pittsburgh, so i doubt the local cable companies would offer these things. but, directv and dishnetwork would. your cousin will most likely have to get a dish.
