Default Used PC parts Store

I'm looking for a place that has a good selection of used PC parts. It's hard to find places through web searching because half the time you can't tell if it is a place that sells whole used PCs, makes custom built PCs, fixes your PC, or is the place I want: One with shelves and boxes full of hard drives, memory sticks, monitors, etc. Any suggestions? I'm in the East End so anything near there is nice, but if I have to travel a bit then so be it.

Have you looked at Goodwill's computer shop on the south side? I think perhaps they only sell complete systems (and accessories) but possibly not.

Computer Store

Actually I had assumed the same thing, but it looks like they may have what I'm looking for. I'll check it out, but I'm worried their stuff may be more outdated than a regular store, so any other suggestions are welcome.

I don't know of any place that sells them, at least where I'm from. Since we're talking about computers, does anyone know of a place that would buy a computer monitor and some accessories? The items are around 8 years old and I'm trying to sell them.

An 8 year old computer monitor and accessories must be practically worthless. You really might want to consider just chucking them.

CRT monitors aren't worth much anymore, but have a go on craigslist maybe?

Thanks, but it doesn't look like any Pittsburgh shows are coming up soon.

Nobody will buy them. Donate them to charity.

Sorry, missed that this was in the Pittsburgh forum. MarketPro used to have some in Monroeville, seems none scheduled there anymore.

I'm glad that someone posted this topic. I have an old laptop that stopped working and was considering on selling it for parts. So my best bet would be to give them to Goodwill? (Not concerned about the money, just want it off my hands.)

Do they handle old electronics as well (like stereos or even cell phones?)
