Hi I live in Philly suburbs and planning to move to Latrobe area due to job. Looking to rent apartments in a decent/safe & upscale area with an easy commute to Latrobe.

There's a couple vacant units down on Academy Heights Dr in Greensburg, they come with 2 or 3 bedrooms as well as a garage, and pets are allowed. The rent can range from $400-550. It's pretty decent as far as townhouses go. Check www.arbors.com for more information.

Thank you very much for the information. I could not locate the apartments you specified on the website.

You'll have to call the office directly and tell them the information I gave you, last I checked they still have the 'for rent' sign outside.

Thank you, I will call them. Since you are from that area I thought you can help me with some info on these apartments too.

What do you think of Oakridge located at 112 Wild Turkey Drive
Greensburg, PA 15601?
A.R.Building Co. - The Standard of Luxury Living

I can also consider Walton Crossings at 5001 Trail Side Ct
Jeannette, PA 15644 if this is place is worth the commute.

One thing I am surprised is 20miles take 40minutes to drive in that area, whereas in Philly 20 minutes is 20 miles.

The Oakridge site is near a major shopping area off of Route 30 in Greensburg, you won't have to worry about noise though since it's in a heavily wooded area. It's a relatively new development, only a couple years old. If you don't mind paying $1200 for rent, it might be a good place for you. As for the Walton property, that's also a new development but it's further out in Penn Township, although with a Jeannette address. From Oakridge, you could be in Latrobe within 20 minutes simply by taking Route 30 East. Walton is probably a 30 minute drive from Latrobe. The location I have suggested would be about 20 minutes as well.
