Default West View - Thoughts

My husband and I are thinking of moving back to Pittsburgh and have several locations in mind that interest us. One of the potential areas is West View. Unfortunatley you can't find out much about this area on the internet. So I was hoping that those of you that know about West View would fill us in on your thoughts and experiences.
Thank you in advance for any opinions/thoughts!

My sister lives near DiPietro's pizza in West View. I think it's a pretty quiet town, safe, some nice neighborhoods, and a few not as nice. Ozzie's bar for Steelers and Pens games occasionally. Giant Eagle/K Mart shopping plaza so it's convenient shopping. I've looked at a few homes there and liked them. Nice elementary school also.
