Yeah, Bill O'Reilly had a schtick for a while that since Mr. Rogers' show emphasized that all children have value, it's ruined a generation of Americans.

Only Bill O'Reilly would view Mr. Rogers as a liberal!

Mr. Rogers was all about conservative family values.

O'Reilly will attack anything if it will make him money.

Yes, Bill O'Reilly, that font of wisdom on parenting, child psychology, and so much else. What a national treasure....

Perhaps he deserves a poop-statue too....

I dont know but, i see many american men always had to fight for the country in the wars unless they went to canada or another country to escape this activity............

I completely agree. It reinforces Pittsburgh's nickname.

There was a big open house with the old show's set just last weekend. That's the end of it though, or, at least for a long time. At least some of the set pieces do live at WQED and are visible all the time, but the rest is stored away. His production company, Family Communications, still has offices in the WQED building though. The Studio A at WQED was also renamed the Fred Rogers Studio in his honor.

He did have a couple children.
