I am thinking of moving to the Dormont or Mt. Lebanon area and i need to commute downtown for work everyday, but i have never taken the T out that way so i have a few questions about it. I tried to look for a T schedule on the port authority website and i can't seem to find one.

My first question is how late does the T run on weekdays and on weekends?? Is it the same times as the bus system or later? Is there a schedule of the times it runs anywhere?

Also, I currently have a zone one monthly bus pass. Would i be able to use my pass to ride on the T from Pittsburgh to Dormont?

Thanks.

Dormont and Mt. Lebanon are on the Beechview line of the "T". The 42C and 42S serve that line. Below is a link to a pdf schedule. Dormont is in Zone One.

South Hills Villiage or South Hills Junction?

You can find the schedules here; which line you need depends on which station you're asking about

From Dormont, you can also take the West Liberty Ave. busses depending on where you end up at- I think its the 41 and it isn't a bad trip. It goes up the old streetcar ramp to the South Busway and through the streetcar tunnel to Station Square and to town.
