Out here, they pay 1.80 a pound for cans.

And for our garabage company, our landfill area is also our recycling area -- same gate, different direction.

Funny I went home to the suburbs to visit my family for Thanksgiving and the recycling collectors didn't take their post-Thanksgiving recycling due to the fact they had clear bags on top of the green recycling barrell.

That's terrible. Perhaps the recycling guys were just overwhelmed with the abundance of post-Thanksgiving recycling in the neighborhood.
