Hey friends, do you know anyone who works at Westinghouse? Is it a good place to work, good corporate culture? Seems like everyone and their brother is trying to get in at WH. I would probably pay just to get an interview.

I just took an offer to work as a Mechanical Engineer at the Cranberry office, Im interested to see if anyone has had any really bad or really good experiences with the company. The new office is ridiculously nice. I dont know much about the corporate culture, I know a few people that work in the Monroeville office, but havent had much to say regarding the place, be it good or bad. Any info would be great, especially if you know for a fact the next year of my life is going to suck lol.

I've applied for a position within the company, albeit it was a different office closer to where I live. Someone who had connections with the company told me that it was a great place to work, benefits are plentiful and people seemed to have some pride in their jobs.

My husband works there and loves it. It is not perfect but a nice place overall. The liklihood of promotions seems really high and the benefits are good. They have slowed down seriously on hiring in the last 6 months.
