LOL Too good for? Whatever. Sometimes that's probably true. In this case I actually voted first. Then I posted that. So that makes me just as stupid. But I can't get what this achieves. Even if it's "all in fun". That's what they always say. It's a buncha crap. IMHO.

What I'd really like to do is cast a vote for everyone. So there.

I'm afraid that makes you stupid. Join the club!

Actually, I was bored on my lunch hour and got sick of reading about people's neighborhood requirements and thought I'd do something goofy. I'm really surprised it's lasted this long.

Results will be announced in a ceremony at a later date, TBD.

It's ok to be pissed that I forgot you . I forgot lots of people, except for the people I purposefully left out. You're not one of them, for what it's worth.

Countdown to locking (or deletion, and infraction and possible banning) begins.....NOW.

Actually, I've always wanted to do a poll of "who's your least favorite poster" and I have to make do with its opposite. I hasten to add that NONE of the people on this poll would be on that poll.

There's a missing write-in vote. Who's not taking this seriously??

Oh, I don't feel bad. I guarantee I wouldn't win. I'm long-winded, sometimes too direct and don't really care. With any luck, a few of my posts help someone, and that's fun to me.

(I didn't report thread; is it against rules?)

Not sure. Who has time to read the TOS?

The following are reasons I did this, to pre-empt the predictable comments:

1. I'm immature
2. I'm narcissistic and I just like to see things with my "name" on them.
3. I was fishing for compliments. Thanks, Tiger Beer!
4. I'm immature.

Or....I was selflessly drawing attention to the unsung heroes of the City Data Pittsburgh forum, people who work day in and out to provide us all with their up-to-date opinions. You decide. I've got better things to do, like go outside and enjoy the weather before it gets below 20 degrees and/or starts precipitating.

I voted "write-in", because I think we should put a mirror on the cover and say the poster of the year is "you":

Time's Person of the Year: You - TIME

Seriously, this forum is a community effort (indeed, in the way described by Time), and I think we all deserve a share of whatever credit (or blame) is to be had.

I agree, BrianTH! However, the voters don't appear to. Agree with you, that is.
