Default Wilkins Township?

Can anyone tell me anything about this area?
We are currently looking to move to the Pittsburgh area (outside of the city)....Im finding a lot of houses, all mostly off of one street-Roland, in Wilkins Township.

Wilkins Twp is a pretty nice area.. its just beside Monroeville... easy access to the interstate.

Personally I am not a fan of the east hills as commuting into and out of the city is a bear from that side of town. But Wilkins is a pretty nice place.

too close to penn hills for me...I would check out Murrysville and if you want something decent close to pgh, try monroeville or churchill but parts of wilkins may still be ok.

TYLERfromPENNHILLS is an unknown quantity at this point
It's a bit late for this reply, but I'll add my 2cents.

PAMomma, Wilkins is a nice area, though I wouldn't move there.

As to Williamsburg, VA 97399,what is wrong with Penn Hills? I've lived here for most of my life, attended school here since grade K, it's a great area, and I'd never consider moving. We're close to Monroeville, and Downtown. Yes, Penn Hills does get a bad rap, though, there are a lot worse-off places. McKeesport is horrid, known for drugs, and in Bethel Park/Mt. Lebanon/Upper St. Clair - all the kids there are on Heroin, though the schools do nothing about it. Plum schools are also bad, and I wouldn't live there myself.

Most of Wilkins Township is a very good area to live and to raise children. I don't think you will be disappointed.

On its best day Penn Hills could never compare to the terrific neighborhood Wilkins is. It's a great place to live, almost no crime. They send you a newsletter every month. People are great and happy to live there.

Plum is also much better than Penn Hills.
