They were taken by a user named EVERGREY, whom I think contributes to this forum, as well. Further down the thread, he had this to say about his camera:

It's a Sony DSC-H2... quite challenging to use on the first time (I kept cutting off PPG's spires, for example)... and I haven't read the instruction book yet... so I'm not sure what it's capable of...

Great shots, I have to wonder (never having visited Pittsburgh before last week) if the apparatus on top of the Mellon building that I will be working in is there to change the signage to Bank of NY Mellon considering the recent merger we went through.
