We are meeting my parents in Pittsburgh for a one night stay. I have two young kids and would love to find a hotel with a really cool pool (zero depth, slides, dumping buckets, etc). Location is very flexible. Anyone have any ideas?

I really don't think such a thing exists in a Pittsburgh area hotel. Sorry.

Perhaps you can find something else kid friendly without the pool requirement.

Here's a website that reviews hotels for kid friendliness:

The Sheraton North in Cranberry has an indoor pool, don't know if it's kid friendly.

I think most of the Fairfield Inns and SpringHill suites have indoor pools and are family friendly. We have stayed at Fairfield Inns when traveling with our children and enjoyed the pools.

I don't think there is anything like what you are requesting in the Pittsburgh area. There are hotels with indoor water parks about a 3 hour drive from here (Columbus OH, Sandusky OH and Erie PA).

The Conley Inn on Rt 30 in Irwin has a pool with slides, the photos on their website make it look relatively shallow. Conley's Inn, Irwin PA

Thanks, all. This is the first time I posted on City-data and it worked great! Conley Inn looks cool and now I know I can stop looking for what's not there in Pittsburgh.

Conley Inn got mostly bad reviews on trip advisor; although a few nice things were said about the pool.

Many of the Conley hotels went down hill decades ago. They were crappy in the 80s, but okay for people who aren't expecting perfection.
