Default It's Paczki Season

It's that time of year when these tasty Polish donuts start showing up in bakeries and church fundraisers. Where does the Pittsburgh forum recommend I go for an authentic paczki? Do you know of any churches that are selling them? I'd prefer to buy them from a church, but I'm open to bakery suggestions as well. I know Giant Eagle sells them, but they're a last resort.

I'd also prefer to stay in the East End, but I'm willing to travel.

Thanks in advance!

Party Cake in Brookline and Mt. Lebo are good choices. You could also take a trip out to the Oakmont Bakery. Not sure about the East End.

Somehow, I've never had a paczki. Time to change that.

I've had fausnots. They seem pretty similar. Plus, both are fun to say, haha.

The place on Liberty in Bloomfield near the former movie house turned starbucks (boo!) used to have them. I think it's called Party Cake. Good luck!

We have them in Texas, too.

Apparently misspelled, though.
