Different question
Can anyone tell me what are the best area in Pittsburg to live in?
Can anyone also tell me what are the best towns around pittsburg where to live?
But most all is the economy in that area on the rise?

I have seen you in many different states before. Not trying to be rude here but are you looking to move to PA or Wisconsin. I have seen you post there before too. Just wondering. Anyway before i left Pittsburgh for Cleveland i would have to say Mount Lebanon, Dormont, South Hills, and Baldwin. Those areas havent changed for the worse like Penn Hills and West Mifflin.

Pa or Wisconsin
Well I am not sure which one yet.
I have done as much research as I good on Wisconsin.
Pittsburg was never on the list, but should have been.
I am looking now.

For anybody thinking I have gone nuts.
I am relocating from Europe.
And I just want to get as close as I can to a decent location.
Which means a lot of posts.
Thank you for any info.

I would suggest Hampton, Pine Township or West Deer Twp. All the areas Paintballer picked are large. Hampton School District of Pine Richland School Districts are smaller that the one's Paintballer picked. These areas a more suburban/rural that the south western part of the city. If you pick a smaller area like Avonmore/Avonworth, you are very close to major roads to get around better. Routes 279/79 and access to the turnpike easier.
Then again try Montour School District and you're closer to the airport. Nice area. But don't get any closer to the airport. Too noisy.

I grew up in pittsburgh and lived there for 20 years since birth. Pittsbugh is beautiful but it's not the most sunny and warm city in the winter (still better that the midwest where I am now). The neighborhood you live in depends on what you want and can afford. Suburbia or urban? young or old crowd? kids? want to live near parks? I lived in squirrel hill, urban, very nice and pricy (for pittsburgh, still pretty cheap) very nice parks in pittsburgh. also nice hills for skiing or biking. As far as the economy, it has seen better days. my neighbor who is very wise told me it is on the rebound, especially in med biotech. There's always jobs post for bridge guys too. if you don't have a job set up it might be a little difficult to find one, but I'm sure you can.

Stay away from Dormont. Mt Lebanon has good schools.
