WPXI news reporter after the debate said “he went down in flames” and “it doesn’t appear he’s able to handle job” and with only a 2% lead it doesn’t look like he’s going to prevail. Wonder if Gisele is going to go after him like she went after the Rolling Stone reporter. Doesn’t look good for his future in politics in any capacity if he loses, and without mom and dad supporting him any longer it can’t make her happy.

ouch....that was painful to watch.

i didnt think id find either to really impress me.

but i felt bad for fetterman. i know he believes in his mission. i dont agree w/ much of his philosophy, but i dont think he's the devil, exactly. and seeing him up there, stumbling along - i honestly felt bad for him.

Oz was hot, on the other hand. I wish he would have been less 'mean', though. i dont think he fully accentuated any positives of his campaign, what he would vote for, etc. he DID attack Fetterman at any opportunity, it seems.

thats fine - its a debate, but Oz didnt really cite concrete examples of Fetters' failures or would-be failure policies. i think the moderators even stated that in the post-game analysis.

debate style - Oz wins, by a landslide

policy/political philosophy - Oz, because he much better voiced it

track record - Oz, because of his background in business/media - in my opinion, this pales John F's.

i really do hope Fetterman continues in public service on a local level. he is more the Lech Walesa type rather than a charismatic head of state type. that doesnt mean he cant be successful in helping his constituency.

Fetterman has a terrible resume to begin with and has proven to so many die hard deniers that he’s unable to comprehend and is unable to properly do the job. He’s not fit for any political office. Oz wasn’t mean. It was simply reality. Fetterman would make a fine greeter at a department store.

I was a Conor Lamb supporter and voted for him in the primary. I am still angry at all of my friends who were swept up in some sort of "Yay Fetterman" propaganda that propelled him to be the Democratic nominee. Now we will have a Senator Oz instead of a Senator Lamb. Last night's debate was just brutal. Fetterman obviously is enduring so much post-stroke aphasia that he will be severely stunted as a Senator in terms of productivity. I got the sense last night that Oz was lying---a lot---but he won that debate.

I have a few friends in the Dem and Republican committees who were surprised, even shocked, that Fetterman beat Conor Lamb so easily. They even questioned the vote counting process. Anyway, Conor Lamb was the second coming of Christ in Mount Lebanon amongst soccer moms who were attracted to his boyish looks. I voted for him as well when he initially presented as a moderate conservative Democrat, but that soon changed. Anyway, I'll take it easy on Fetterman. He bombed from the word go.

Yes, I had the Mt. Lebanon soccer moms in mind when I voted for Lamb because our state often comes down to turnout in the Philadelphia suburban "collar counties", which are basically a bunch of Mt. Lebanons on steroids. If all those soccer moms turned out in droves to vote for Conor Lamb then it would easily be game over for any GOP nominee. I am not as convinced these same soccer moms are going to rush out to vote for Fetterman. My sister, a teacher in rural PA, voted for Malcolm Kenyatta because she thought he would be more electable than Fetterman. With this race neck-and-neck PRIOR to last night's debate I fear Oz is going to get a big enough last-minute boost from this debate to win, and we will be sending a Senator Oz to Washington, DC.

Amazing seeing Democrats totally ignore Fetterman’s repeated declarations of being a fracking supporter. Wasn’t it just a few years ago that denouncing all things cracking was a purity test for being in the party?

Before Fetterman, Braddock was a slum. After Fetterman it is worst.

The clueless Mt.Lebanon soccer moms and their capon spouses are the reason Mt.Lebanon has sadly turned into a woke, Democratic stronghold over the last 20 years.
Living next door, I see them all the time, yakking on their phones will trying to drive their huge SUV's & ignoring traffic.
