I like this. I already like Federal St., but in ten years it could potentially be awesome -- aesthetically and as a functional neighborhood.

With the stately homes along North and the new rowhouses up on Federal Street, a little restaurant district could give this area of the NS a sort of "village-esque" feel.

While certainly disappointing...I'd quibble with "collapse", which implies no progress or plan going forward.
