Some parts are, but not all of them are. Hate to see someone get stuck somewhere like I used to be.

This appears to be a VERY personal opinion, bordering on a grudge against these areas. How about, if you have a specific issue with a specific area, you present it to the OP for their consideration, instead of making blanket statements which are VERY general and uninformative.

Could you please tell me which part of Plum is bad? I've lived here my whole life and I'm very intrigued by this...

I never said Plum was a bad area..now did I ? NOOO. I said to be wary of Penn Hills and the areas close to it, namely Wilkinsburg and others surrounding area, but no Plum and some parts of Monroeville are still ok and even some parts are nice...depends.
Actually plum is one of the few remaining nice areas of Allegheny County...if you live there, good for you!!!

EXACTLY!!! That's why you were asked to be more specific with your statement to 'Stay away from Penn Hills and the surrounding areas at all costs'.

I was, I just said areas close to the town, what more do you want? A street by street assessment? I have a busy life, people can do their OWN homework on this, its not my place.

Well.. when you post something so generalized, it makes everyone around Penn Hills look bad. You need to be more specific when you post.
