If they're going private and attending Shadyside Academy (located in Fox Chapel) or even Winchester Thurston (or any other private school in Oakland/Shadyside/Squirrel Hill), Oakmont is closer than Mt. Lebanon.

If you buy a home in either location please contact me to help get you a detailed home inspection. I have worked in both areas, and am familier with the homes there.
