Yes, if the FBI didn't give him the 25k there is no way he would have been able to afford the trip to Peru to play in the poker tournament. That means he wouldn't have had the oppurtunity to meet the girl he killed, so if it wasn't for the FBI entrapping Van der Sloot the Peruvian girl would still be alive.... The FBI guys have to be feeling a little guilty?

I wonder why the FBI gave him money for finding out about Natalie Holloway. What made her so special? Would the FBI dish out this much money for every other case?

They don't! So what makes Natalee oh so special?

The Holloway family put up the first $10,000. Guess the FBI put up the rest. That would have been 10% of what he was asking for. It looks like it was to be a sting so they could arrest him and bring him to the US to face extortion charges.

The FBI will probably be found liable in a civil court since Van der Sloot couldn't go to Peru without their money. $15,000 grand will cost them 15 million. Another great American business deal.

An excellent question that we already know the answer to. It is disgusting that there is a different level of justice for affluent, white girls in this country. I can't believe they are still wasting time working on her case while people are getting killed everyday in the United States.

If she had been a poor, black woman the cops and media would have quit caring long ago.
