The only thing socialists loathe more than Christianity, is capitalism and individualism. They especially loathe the United States, as it still symbolizes all three despite the best efforts of the Obamessiah. As the vast majority of socialists are moral relativists, they follow the philosophy "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." Thus, as Islamofascists and third world totalitarian dictators share the socialists' hatred for the U.S., they become natural partners in evil.

Within the teachings of Christianity are clear indications that a person’s salvation is a very individual thing. Individualism is anathema to the socialist/collectivist.
Also, that notion of individualism extends into the ideas of hard work and self sufficiency. The bible speaks of “eating from the sweat of your own brow”. Again the concept is in direct conflict with the teachings of liberalism/progressivism.
Liberals speak of “collective salvation”. There is an attempt within liberalism to hold up those who add no value to society as being equal to those who build and create.
Everywhere I see, atheists are fighting to take down Chrisitian specifics symbols from public places, but when Muslim cabbies in Kansas City and Muslim students in universities want specially designed foot baths to be installed in public places, all we hear is deafening silence from the left? Why is it ok for you lefties to bash us Christians on TV, make fun of Jesus and God, but don't dare do the same to Allah or Muhammad? Why? Someone explain to me

In America, at present, liberals have to spend more of their time fighting threats to the legitimate secular order that happen to be Christian rather than Muslim, because there are about 80 times more Christians than Muslims. If the same liberals went to, say, Egypt, the opposite might be true. But if they don't plan to go to Egypt, it doesn't really matter.
I don't hate anything but ignorance and intolerance. Don't know that much about any oher religions but do know this is a country of freedom- and that's where I stand- freedom for all to worship as they please- and I cannot stand control freaks driven by fear.

All of which sounds perfectly reasonable and would be an excellent explanation except for one small thing: it isn't true.
Israel and South Africa. Two nations which are/were white pro-Western industrialized societies the liberals have/had absolutely no problem sparing the time to protest and demonize them. For both of these nations, unlike for the communist and Muslim tyrannies, there were plenty of protests and marches and college lectures and such. And you could also add Nicaragua to the list where both sides were guilty of vast atrocities and human rights violations, but somehow the left solely condemned the right wing Contras and not the communist Sandanistas.
Were your excuse actually true for why liberals seem to ignore the Muslim tyrants, then it would also hold for Israel and South Africa and the Contras. But it doesn't. So your excuse doesn't hold water. It sounds nice, but reality doesn't support it.

Yea....it's really annoying that gays are starting to bash Christian Churches because they won't marry them.
I have an idea.....since many lefties see islam as tolerant and Christianity as evil and intolerant, try to become a member of a mosque, telling them that you're gay, and then demand that they marry you and your partner.
Lefties won't because they're cowards. They can freely bash Christians because it's safe......
