I don't use the word, unless warranted.

But all that is irrelevant to the OP....

Which is that a couple of criminals assaulted a police officer and were restrained.

Maybe there is a reading comprehension issue for you but I never stated that anyone was a "racist" for disagreeing with me.

If you actually read my previous posts in this thread I have stated several times that I believe that both the girls and the police office were wrong.

The numerous bigoted comments by many posters in this thread regarding the entire Black population in America based on the actions of two girls is racist. My posts have been about this specific situation. And many of the posters in this thread have been very far off-topic and basically just an excuse to bash Black Americans in general.

You are right about that. Personally, Id rather be punched.
Im not sure the cop over reacted. Many say he should have handled it better, yet I havent heard how that should have been done. None of us know how we would have reacted in the same situation.

First off, the cop did not punch the girl for jaywalking - he punched her because she shoved the cop forcefully, which is a definite NO-NO. You never touch a cop!!!

The girl was not doing as the cop requested, which is "resisting". The cop's immediate reaction when shoved was to defend himself. The cop had every right to defend himself with his fist. It was better that he defend himself with his fist than with his blackjack stick or flashlight. It's a damn good thing the cop wasn't a K-9 cop!!!

True enough. Office "Rover" would have come through the back window and had both of them for dinner.
