^agreed^
Here is a common conversation about the incident, "a cop punched a teenager in the mouth!" But what happened is “two women become unruly and assaulted an officer”. I guess to some the officer should have waited till these two thugs pulled his gun and shot him before he decided to defend himself.
She deserved it! (really, they both should have been knocked the ***** out!)
Just for the folks who don't know my politics, I will be the first to call a cop out for abuse. I thought the Rodney King arrest was the sine quo non of police abuse footage, but having said that, an officer has the right, and the duty to use all force necessary to affect an arrest whether that arrest is lawful or not!
Personally, I will argue, cuss and scream at any cop that I think is out of line, but once he states that I am under arrest, my resistance ceases. I will just deal with his and the department's sorry ass at a later date through my attorney.
I meant as in this video and as I have seen elsewhere...it appears to be a double standard to consider oneself equal but to also expect consideration because of your gender...
Well, I'll say it loud and clear. I'm a female....guys, please don't punch me in the face. If that gets me labeled a delicate wallflower (which if you knew me would be laughable), so be it.

If you hit the other person first, you would deserve whatever came your way, don't you agree?
Because obviously when somebody speaks of ghettos and ghetto-like behaviour, they're automatically talking about blacks, right? I could have sworn it was a mindset with no particular color, gender, or size requirement.
No, you are just wrong. WHERE in the video do the women state since they are women they should be treated differently?
AND even if they did there's a million more women who will disagree.
I do not expect, nor do I want to see , any special consideration because I'm a woman.
The ONLY one I've seen in HERE is MR. Opinion (there may be another one or two, I didn't see them) and I say he's WRONG!
There's a lot of female posters in HERE who are on the cops side....the right side.
I'm half on the cop's side....I think he deserved to defend himself and I think the girls were unruly. STILL don't think punching in the face was the right action. He resorted to a brawling style of combat that I just don't think is appropriate for LEOs.

What does that have to do with my post you quoted?

I don't believe in escalating the violence level. For instance:
If I push a guy/girl, I expect to be pushed back,
If I punch guy/girl, I expect to be punched back,
If I hit a guy/girl with a bat, hammer, any other weapon, I expect for them to use force/their own weapon, to defend themselves
So, if I push a guy, no I don't deserve to be punched....sorry, that's just an unnecessary response.

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure. If you HONESTLY want me to believe that when the term ghetto is used in the way it has been in this thread is NOT talking about inner city/poor blacks, sorry, not buying.
