Yes, he's pro-AWB (probably from too much of that NJ sewer water festering in his brain), but at least he got it right with regards to fiscal responsibility.
I love how he is so straight forward and no double talk. He is right about NJ they cant keep going down the same path that got them in the mess they are in. Wish others hint hint would listen to him

I really really like this man. Of all of the people running for state office or recently elected, he's my favorite, but he sure has a tough job ahead of him.
I am one of the children that will move away from my family (I'm old now) . NJ is a long way from a place to prosper and grow , Christie is the
last hope . I will still move .
His talk is good but lets see action.
All politics aside, i'd like to know why those who embrace liberal ideology cannot or do not subscribe to the words of Chris Christie? I heard nothing that could not be embraced by all of us, but yet there undoubtedly will be fierce resistance from (liberal) unions and entitlement-minded folks who see his Agenda as being against their well-being. Whis is this? Why can't those on the left stop for a moment and actually consider that this nation is on a path to bankruptcy? Why?
Those unions are bleeding us dry, and he is the great wrecking ball to destory thier agenda. Keep it up and break the backs of those liberal sympethisthers so real American can recover.

The words are fine and could have been spoken by any politician - but I suspect he's all talk & little action and NJ won't be much different when he leaves office. At best he'll won't expand government.
He'll be in the same bind as other state governments - you can't cut taxes without cutting spending and everyone thinks that the fat is elsewhere - not in the programs that benefit them. In this video he's talking to an older population who benefit from property tax rebates.
He's not as cute as Fran Drescher but he's got style he's got flair and that's how he became the governor of the nanny state - but I am old and I have touched the sky and don't think he can do much more than hold the line.
