What are you talking about??

It has been posted repeatedly that what we have today is not true capitalism. The federal reserve, business to big to fail, corporate greed..

If you look at the failures in America it is because of our movement away from true capitalism.

Things will get worse yes yes.. but because of our progressive government.

Our society is becoming more facist every day.

Under socialism all animals are equal except some animals are more equal than others.

And I understand why some college professors and a number of college students would extol the virtues of socialism and even communism.

East Germany was controlled by the Sivet Union. That's why I mentioned it.

You really can't speak of East Germany, or any other Soviet block country, without mentioning Russia.

Communism sucks. Capitalism sucks.

People don't understand what the point is in living, nor do they even think about it. Money is the only thing and everything.

I think it's Capitalism equals Opportunity.

Like shopping, you can buy as many as you like or just pass them by. Remember, the more you buy the more taxes you pay.

Unlike socialism... all your profits are belong to US.

Not quite. What you're suggesting is a form of capitalism that is free of ANY regulation. In other words, free market. Capitalism, by itself, doesn't imply a free market. It exists even with regulations. In fact, it is easy to argue that regulated markets consider the realities and help capitalism flourish. Unregulated markets have all the ingredients to concentrate wealth and power in the hands of a few, creating monopolies where an individual will struggle to survive. More often than not, will be bought out or simply disappear. In many cases, competitors can collude through cartels or strategic alliances to define their profits, while at the same time, reigning in on the smaller players.

To think this is the best economic system people can create is absurd. We can do better. I hope we will do better.
That's far from the truth, at least in the US. The immigrants from yesterday (not the illegal aliens of today) immigrated to the US seeking for the opportunities that didn't exist in their native lands. In here it's up to you to earn as much money as possible by hard work. Read the book "The Millionaire Mind," where quite a lot of examples of self-made millionaires amassed their fortunes are given.

Also, switch places (have him earning your wages) with a legal immigrant from Saigon, for example, and you will see with your own eyes, how happy he will be and how much money he will put away.
----

What has happened to us is that instead of working hard for our money and spending it wisely, we have become dependent of others to lead our lives, and live on credit. Instead of frugality, we have switched our lives to spending more than what we earn, and buying toys on credit for instant gratification. A person considered as poor in the US is a very wealthy person to a lot of people around the world.

If you don't like being employed, become your own boss.

It is just that easy.

In America, you have that choice.

The problem is, employees, have no clue. They take their jobs for granted. Like the business is only there to keep them employed and nothing else.
