The report discloses that in 2008, Judge Feldman held less than $15,000 worth of stock in Transocean, as well as similar amounts (federal rules only require that judges report a range of values ) in Hercules Offshore, ATP Oil and Gas, and Parker Drilling. All of those companies offer contract offshore drilling services and operate offshore rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Judge Feldman also owned between $15,000 and $50,000 in notes offered by Ocean Energy, Inc., a company that offers "concept design and manufacturing design of submersible drilling rigs," according to its website. None of the companies were direct parties to the lawsuit seeking to overturn the ban.
Judge Feldman did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

Nope...no conflicts of interest here.

Yes, I see what you mean.

"Unlike corporate executives, congressmen can trade common stocks without restriction, buying and selling as much as they want whenever they want. They may vote on issues in which they have a personal financial interest. Furthermore, Senate members are not required to report their transactions to the Securities and Exchange Commission like corporate insiders.[/b] About one-third of senators trade common stock each year. The average "trading" senator buys and sells stock more than 10 times every 12 months. About 80% of these transactions are for less than $15,000."

How would this be a conflict? Once those drillers are shut down they can move on to other waters, as in countries. With fewer restrictions and lesser penalties. Moving them is just a cost of business. It'll be a long time before they return to the U.S.

If you want to talk about conflicts of interest, you need to look up your buddy in the WH and Soros' ties with Petrobras, then come back and we'll talk.

DING DING DING

Exactly. And why isnt the news reporting on this? We give 2 billion to Brazil knowing what they are going to use it for (drilling for oil in the ocean far deeper than the oil rig drilled in the Gulf). All these lefties say they are sooo against drilling etc, etc. Yet they are completely silent about this. Soros is connected to this, youre right. The same Soros who practically pulls Obama's strings. Yet not a peep from anyone about this.

So lets go over this again. The far left, the media, Obama, progressives, ect dont want us to drill for oil, yet they constantly remind us that our dependence on foreign oil is bad...which it is. And they seem to have no problems whatsoever with giving $2 billion to Brazil so they can drill deeper. They have no problems with other countries continuing to explorer and find more sources for oil. But God forbid WE do it? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???? You people on the left make me sicker and sicker the more time goes by and the more your bs, lies, and hypocrisy are exposed. I just wish to God we had a media that did their damn job and reported this to the American people
