I think jimw is obsessed with Bush... personally, I don't like Bush and think Bush was an idiot but I think jimw is just purely obsessed with Bush, he can't speak something without mentioning Bush... and he has very little understanding about real estate markets...

1. Buyers and easy money drove up the price of homes.
Fraud drove up the home prices period.

2. Had the governmnet not interferred and forced lenders to loan to unqualifed buyers (via legislation) this never would have happened. If banks/mortgage brokers had to fully disclose their holdings and risk every month they would not have gotten away with selling junk paper.
Had the baby Jesus Bush enforced the laws this never would happened.

3.Why is it that the "financial reform" passed by the Democrat controlled Congress fails to deal with #2 above? Why is it that most of the "financial reform" is just more taxes in the form of bank fees and will be paid for by the taxpayer/customer?
Why do you refuse to use the word fraud? Come you can do it I will help Fr fr fra fraud see you can do.

Then let's have a discussion of the fraud that went on under your baby Jesus. Or is there a reason you would rather not talk about it?

Why don't you bring the proof of fraud, not suggestions of, not insinuations of, but proof with facts to the table and put forth a reason to debate?

I'm being completely sincere, no snark involved.

Good luck with jimw... I don't think he knows any facts... he keeps making baseless accusations and try to drag you into a discussion about Bush... like I said, he is obsessed with Bush... he makes some retarded comments like "Chief Enforcer" and stuff like that... wth is that crap... and then he keeps deifying Bush with religious references and then makes Bush out to be a psychic who could predict the future and knew of the housing problems before it even started... he is just nonsensical... I wouldn't give him too much of your time... otherwise it would be wasted time...

not quite,

this falls squarely on clinton and his chiefs of HUD Cisneros and Cuomo (running for NYS govornor ),..it is they who eased the mortgage rules in 1995, 1997, and 1999
