Well well well...

Soon and very soon we might see some of those manufacturing jobs come back to the USA.

When China's economy eclipses ours and it costs more to manufacture in China than it does in our own backyard.

What will it take for our government to give incentives to businesses to return to manufacturing in the USA?

I think we need to get these foreign interests out of our politics. Starting with China (even though we owe them our arm and leg).

It takes $$ to build manufacturing facilities. Obama's current plans are to tax corporations and small businesses so that they have little money to put back into the business to grow it.

Don't fool yourself. Until this Congress and this President make the US a more economically free country in which to operate business manufacturing will remain off-shore US and in 3rd world countries where labor is cheap or where the government gives the corporations more freedom (Canada).

I was listening to that on NPR last night. They were saying China was loosing work to Pakistan and ??? I believe India as lower cost producers. It wasn't long ago when Japan was a low cost producer.

Ah, the joys of borrowing.

Be prepared for inflation - no, stagflation.

Not gonna happen. China is already buying up property in African nations and building factories to take advantage of raw materials and cheap labor there as they've already anticipated their own labor force's rising costs.

As long as we adhere to the global economy notion, we can't recover.

Maybe we should reward the shareholder for allowing a company to migrate to a country with high labor costs... forget the company, give the shareholder the cake.
