Barack Obama is pretty consistently anti-immigration, whether legal, illegal, or barely legal. The Obama administration, for instance, has set deportation records of illegals (almost 300,000 in 2009, a 5 percent bump from the previous year), his Labor Department is making it tougher for farmers to (legally) hire temporary workers, and he's pushing to hike fees on virtually every aspect of the processing of visas, forms, you name it.

That is just normal wanting to pay for increasing cost and have a program pay for itself more. Why for example should taxpayers pay for the processing required for VISAs or other workers brought in the country by a business. Its part of teh cost of business. I would thnik it will be increasing all the time with the people coming illegally more and more.So it really means nothing but he wants such programs to be paid by the people who benefit;not that he is anti-immagration.

More cost of "doing business":

"Obama's Department of Labor (DOL) has put in place new regulations that will make it more difficult for American farmers to temporarily hire foreign workers. The regulations will raise the minimum wage for foreign farm workers and transfer all compliance costs to employers."

I guess you all would hate him for that too.

It has been said that the President is pro-illegal immigration, and it has also been said that the president is anti-illegal immigration.

It has been said the President is pro-legal immigration, and now it is being said that the President is anti-legal immigration.

Being President is like being a jackass in a hailstorm. There is nothing to do but to stand there and take it.
