Country rankings for trade, business, fiscal, monetary, financial, labor and investment freedoms

To thwart the Obama zombies from issuing "Heritage is a right wing shill site", keep in mind that the socialist mecca of Canada ranks higher than America in this survey.

Interesting. Must've happend during the previous adminstration since the data for these rankings (this is from the site you linked to) comes from 2006 or earlier through the first half of 2009.

I'm a moderate, but I get sick of all this partisan and finger pointing crap. We'd get so much more accomplished in this country if we all worked to solve issues instead of just trying to prove one side is right.

I am not exactly certain what conclusion the o.p. wants to make about their link. The reference to Obama makes me think it is some kind of off balance swipe at his administration. Here is a link to an index which might be of more relevance to the average American: the GINI index. Sort by clicking on the small >< in column three and prepare to be interested at some of the economic company the United States is keeping in the world. And, no, this cannot be laid at Obama's feet. As in the previous link it takes years to compile and parse the data into a meaninful chart. Obama administration data is still in the hoppper. The day to day results of living in a country where if you make six figures you are in the 1% of Americans is very present however. Off to give some rep to post #2.
