This is why I am against religion, of any kind! These evil and sadistic punishments for moral crimes all have roots in religion. Even the bible has countless accounts of stoning for perceived moral crimes.

So.....wise ones....how do we stop this ? and please...no BS about a glass parking lot. That argument is so old that it shines. What if (hypothetically) the US government were stoning an adulteror tomorrow at noon ? What could be done to stop them ? What could Iran do to stop us ? What could the Swiss, and Ugandans do ? protest ? send emails begging us not to ?

I did not hijack the thread. I provided a valid link as to why there is a barbaric theocratic rule of law in Iran. You fail to see the connection? Not very insightful of you. Please show me where I blamed America for everything wrong in this world on this particular thread.

You obviously have very poor reading comprehension skills.

You just ignorantly jumped on a few words at random and out of context to make a stupid statement.
What does anything you say about the US being to blame have to do with last year's Iranian uprising against the election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, which I surmised is what your links are about?

If anything, we (our country) helped Ahmadinejad quelch the protesters by NOT having a POTUS with the balls to verbally support their cause. Countries all over harshly condemned MA and his actions during the protests (not to mention the rigged election), yet our ball-less wonder of a president couldn't articulate the words of support for them in their time of need. Now, the opportunity for them may have passed.

Liberal Laws of Logic:
1). Blame America first
2). Breathe, eat, sleep

You made no point. Gee, if McCain were elected instead (perish the thought) we'd all be singing "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran" and involved in three damn wars. Like that, wouldn't you?

Why should a U.S. POTUS inject himself into a sovereign nation's election? Stupid freaking idea.

YOU made no point. Please, explain the point you were (failing at) attempting to make linking the Iranian uprising and the Blame America chant coming out of your mouth.

I never said we should bomb Iran or inject ourselves into their election politics. I DID say that the least the ball-less wonderboy Obama could have done is come out in support of the protesters, as heads of MANY other states all over the world did. The man simply. could. not. do. it. There were even protesters begging for American recognition of their plight, holding signs asking for American support (and no, that doesn't necessarily mean militarily, financially, or otherwise).

So again, what was the point you were trying to make??
