Under any circumstances is torture ever acceptable in your mind? Explain why you think it is if you do think it is acceptable under certain circumstances and explain why you think its unacceptable in all cases no matter what if you believe that. Looking forward to reading all responses.

The only rules they live by is their own, and they ain't pretty.
I think there needs to be standards and boundaries to which we always adhere, as a civilized society. I would like to think of the U.S. as a role model in this area, but too often, I've been disappointed. At least with Obama, I have more confidence that we will not physically torture our enemies.
Anyone who condones torture should FIRST be submitted to it themselves. IF they like it, ALL of their loved ones have to go through it, before the consent is validated.
