I know the point you are getting across,but for instance,when discussing the liberal threads whyalmost always does black people pop up in these threads?
With all due respect, your profile says you've been an RN for five years. Are you a Registered Nurse? Did you have to go to college to become a Registered Nurse?
I'll say this without singling anybody out, and I've done it myself from time to time...
Maybe every now and then it wouldn't be such a bad idea to take a break from here. When people start to really get upset, I mean to a point where you walk away from here and you still think about this stuff, that's a good time to stay away for a while. The forum will still be here, and the mud wrestling will still be going on when the time is right to come back.
Sometimes people get so upset by what they see here or by the interactions they have with other people. When that happens, it's time to take a breather, join us on the baseball forum, or whatever.
One thing about this particular forum... I guarantee you nobody is ever going to change anyone else's mind. Sometimes it's just better to back off for a little while.

Oh yeah,while doing home care a few years back,there were white people who refused to have black nurses. To me,that maybe about race or preference.

the racists here represent the ignorant and scared. on line they feel very free to spew their hatred. in real life some are obvious but many hang in the closet or wear a white sheet

Now,I know racis, is not always about black and white,but I don't see too many anti asian threads or anti native american threads. I only see anti black threads with regards to race.
