Can you explain why Washington D.C which has the HIGHEST concentration of Black Americans on the list ranks 49th on the original list? It appears there is a much closer correlation between low income and obesity than the percentage of Black People in a given state. Keep in mind that only 16.3% of the people in Tennessee are Black Americans. Only 3.1% of the people in West Virginia are Black Americans. Only 7.1% of the people in Oklahoma are Black Americans and only 6.8% of people in Kentucky are Black Americans.
