The question is redundant as you aren't going to accept any answers from the other side of the aisle. i.e) Healthcare reform: many on the left view it as an accomplishment vs. virtually no one from the right liking it. Partisan politics... gotta love it

I agree, HC reform is so great is raised my rates!

I love higher cost and less care don't you?

Not to mention the piling up of the debt it has caused.

67% of all ALL Americans want it repealed. I would say the majority do not like it then wouldn't you?

Insurance rates have been skyrocketing for years now, had the bill not passed, your health care rates still would have gone up. Polls = bulls***, if we wanted to see what the majority of ALL Americans wanted, we would have had a referendum.

My insurance has NOT went up for more then 10 years.

Stop making stuff to cover for the party of hell no.

The passage of this scam bill has caused my rates to go up and has hurt most Americans would actually pay for their own insurance.

This bill is one of the worst bills ever passed in our history and only helps a select few people whiling hurting the majority.

Oh, there will be a referendum coming soon to a congress near you when we wipe out 50-60 seats of demNOcrats next month and get the rest of the idiots in 2012.

The majority of Americans were against this back door bill and want us to repeal this crazy bill.

We need one single bill that stops insurance companies from not allowing care based on pre conditions. The rest of this bills is garbage.

The majority DID NOT AND STILL DO NOT WANT THIS BILL.

Thanks to your party of hell no most of us did not get to see what was in the bill and of course like Nancy said, lets pass it and read it later.

And to think you fall for that crap.

To be comprehensive, we need another option (like a public option). But I agree, this bill was written by insurance lobbyists and hustled out the door. We need a public option, which would act as some competition on the insurance industry, and give us a place to turn if we simply cannot afford our rates, and we need a bill as you said which removes the preconditions barrier to care.

As for your rates going up: "Nancy-Ann DeParle, the director of the White House Office of Health Reform, told the Journal that insurers were using the new health reforms as an excuse to raise rates.

"I would have real deep concerns that the kinds of rate increases that you're quoting... are justified," she said. "We believe consumers will see through this."

Health Care for America Now, a coalition group in support of the health care overhaul, slammed the insurance industry and pointed to insurers' history as evidence that its latest claims were misleading. For instance, WellPoint's Anthem subsidiary had to reduce its proposed rate hike in California earlier this year after it tried to justify increases as high as 39 percent with erroneous numbers.

"The health insurance industry is doing the same thing it has always done, raising premiums to achieve excessive profits and outrageous salaries for their CEOs," HCAN executive director Ethan Rome said in a statement.
"

You think, without competition, insurance companies are going to ever lower your rates?

The healthcare bill did not go far enough, which is why the insurance industry can raise your rates forever.
