Sarah Palin has something more than intellect. She has the ability to understand, connect with and energize her party.
Politico's chief political columnist sees Palin as the Republican candidate for POTUS in 2012.

I am basing my belief now, as back then, on Palin’s ability to connect with the base of her party. Name a bigger name in the Republican Party today. Heck, name any name in the Republican Party today.
Palin is at the top of her party - POLITICO.com Print View

Palin as a candidate for POTUS: really, really scary.

Exactly. Appeal to the gut, instead of the brain.

I disagree that she'll be the candidate for 2012. I do agree that she has the ability to connect.

If she gets to be the nominee in 2012, the Republicans stand no chance in hell of winning.

Sure, she has a favorable rating, among Republicans.

Independents still rate her quite low, and Dems, well forget it.

I fail to see your point. Are you supposing that Palin and Hitler share the same qualities? Qualities that other less murderous foreign leaders don't possess?

Oh, that would just be lovely (sarcasm). Exactly what we need to have four more years of Obama. I wish Ron Paul would get the nomination but I think he just has too many good ideas for any official party yo accept somebody like him.
