the lodgings of Obama's Spanish fiesta, the Hotel Villa Padierna in Marbella, "luxurious," "posh" and "a millionaires' playground." Estimated room rate per night? Up to a staggering $2,500. Method of transportation? Air Force Two.

Transporting and housing the estimated 70 Secret Service agents who will flank the material girl will cost the taxpayers a pretty penny.

Those 200 people are government employees who pay taxes and have to raise their families.

They would have followed her to Miami or Hawaii. Spain was a cheap destination.

Hmmm, cost the tax payers a pretty penny you say? Lets figure out the math then, $2,500 eh? That means each american pays roughly $0.000008333333333333334
out of their pocket for this vacation.

So I suppose it could be a pretty fraction of a penny.

True, true, If I was meeting the King and Queen,
I'd need at least 200 people with me. I guess
we all have to sacrifice, in our own way, to get
throught this financial crisis.
