...display character or have no credibility. The time for complacency is over. The time for anything less than an olympic effort in overcoming the onslaught of these Marxist radicals is over. We must give 110%. Nothing else will suffice. The Marxist are relentless. They will not give up. They consider a compromise a victory. So stay the course. And spread the word!
"A Plea from a Patriot"

The following is a 27 page Communist Manefesto, submitted by: Karen Ashley; BILL AYERS; Bernardine Dohrn; John Jacobs; JEFF JONES; Gerry long...etc., on June 18, 1969. Still very active...growing and more relevant today than ever!

You Don't Need A Weatherman To Know Which Way The Wind Blows

Outline:

I......International Revolution
II.....What Is The Black Colony
III....The Struggle For Socialist Self-Determination
IV....Black Liberation Means Revolution
V.....Anti-Imperialist Revolution And The United Front
VI....International Strategy

"The strategy which flows from this is what Che' called "creating two, three, many Vietnams" - to mobilize the struggle so sharply in so many places that the imperialists cannot possibly deal with it all..."

VII...The RYM - Revolutionary Youth Movement; Class Analysis
VIII..Why A Revolutionary Youth Movement
IX....Imperialism Is The Issue

Communist Manefesto...How do we reach youth; what kinds of struggles do we build; how do we make a revolution - ...

X.....Neighborhood-Based Citywide Youth Movement
XI....The RYM And The Pigs
XII...Repression And Revolution

"...this brings us close enough to kids in their day-to-day lives to organize their "maximum active participation" around enough different kinds of fights..."

III THE NEED FOR A REVOLUTIONARY PARTY

"...A revolution is a war...Because war is political...the international communist revolution must guide it...by what is called a "Marxist-Leninist" party...rather it is akin to the Red Guard in China..." end.

******************************************************

These people are probably more committed to their cause than most of us are. They really believe what they are saying, and have been actively engaged in pursuing their ends for forty years now...and many of us are waking up. It is time for us to be just as committed to our cause as they are to theirs.

Knowledge is power folks...we need to stand strong together beginning today and hold our stand solidly for all the difficult days to come...together we can beat this beast that threatens our very freedom to pursue life...liberty...and the pursuit of happiness...as individuals...with individual, inalienable rights.

God Bless you and keep you safe...and all those you love.

Sincerely,
Verna.

Well, it's a good thing we don't have any marxists in the government, now isn't it?

Also, lol@posting something from 1969 and expecting it to still be relevant today.

Ovcatto, we're you around in the 60's when these radicals posted their manifesto? It wasn't funny then. It is no more amusing today.

These people have not abandoned their ideology to revise the intent of the government of the U.S.

It worked too . They got the minds of our youth like they said they woud do . They gave strenth to the weakest links of society ad took away from the strongest .

Gave the rats in the race bigger homes and cars to keep them pacified .

I was one of them, a slightly later incarnation but one nonetheless. But most folks have long abandoned our jejune love of radical politics, few of which withstood the demise of the Soviet Union or the "revisionist" policies of Deng Xiaoping.

Frankly it is sort of embarassing to read these, naive, misguided, fanciful (I'm frankly at a loss for words) rantings that we once believe would be the guiding principles for a new world... Oh, well as it is says in Corinthians 13:11 "When I was a child I spoke as a child I understood as a child I thought as a child; but when I became a man I put away childish things."

For every one of your boogie man Bill Ayers (only a mere shadow of his revolutionary self) there are 100 Katherine Ann Powers (restarantuer), Bobby Seales (spokesperson Ben & Jerry), and O.V. Cattos (freelance political/public relations consultant and visual artist) who, as we said in the day, completely sold out to the man.

Which brings me to another amusenment about this thread.

Back in the day, Obama and his policies would have been the subject of vehement derision. We would have derided Obama as a shill for the man, a tool of capitalism and quite frankly, an Uncle Tom. So, when I read about Obama being a socialist and a racist, I can't help but get a chuckle.
