American Soldiers on patrol find Iraqi children being starved to death in Orphanage!
CBS News Video - Top Stories and Video News Clips at CBSNews.com
Kitchen shelves were stuffed full of food!
Stacks of Clothes were found wrapped in plastic!
It is believed that the Caretaker of the Orphanage was selling the goods for a profit while letting these children starve to death.
These children are all "special needs" children who were abandoned by their Iraqi parents, because it was too difficult to care for them. Most of the poor children can't even speak.
I have read they are all now safe, gaining weight, and being cared for properly now.

I saw that too, and with a handicapped, or special needs kid myself, I couldn't take watching that clip. Not much pushes me over the edge, but I had difficulty containing myself watching that news clip.

I do NOT know how the American Soldiers controlled their emotions and didn't string up the Orphanage workers right then and there??
I don't think I could have controlled my anger and would have had to strangle the Orphanage Director!

Speaking as a former Marine ... sometimes you don't control your anger and then is turns into a media circus.

You think that is bad? check this out. They have concentration camps for children in North Korea. Also this happens more than you think, who do you think is making your shoes in China?

Life is CHEAP in places like Iraq. Suffering and death happen with even greater frequency than ever would be possible in America. People have to understand this.
Look at what happens in the prisons in Iraq (and other similar countries)

It sickened me but it didn't surprise me at all.
The story I read said they were all boys...what happened to the girls, were they just seperated or did they just kill them outright because female life there is worth next to nothing?
I don't believe America will ever be successful in trying to make countries like North Korea, China or Iraq, place the same value on Human life as other countries.

This is heartbreaking. Nothing enrages me more than the mistreatment of children. Why do you think this is being covered up?
