WRONG!! How is it my 7 year old can understand this but grown adults cant? Or can they but they just pretend not to.........I am still waiting for some one to tell me how it worked out for them after they went to their employer and told him, that the reason they have a mortgage they are upside down on two brand new car payments they cant afford and 20 thousand dollars of credit card debt is because he hasn't given them those raises to keep up with their spending habits! Give me a break! Tax cuts dont need to be paid for.....spending does, but if you want to play the shell game, ok fine , you want to pay for those tax cuts, repeal the trillion dollar health care bill for starters!

The amount of tax revenue is only a factor in the deficit if you spend more than you bring in. The tax rates have been the same for years so revenue was fairly predictable, but spending has skyrocketed far beyond the revenue which means that the politicians have knowingly expanded the deficit.

single largest part of the USA's debt is the goverments over burdening budget. it would be a better thing to fire 99% of all federal employees and pay off the debt with the huge savings from all the firings.

if democrats and republicans are not willing to fire all those supposed public servants, then default on both the unfunded and funded debt.

GREENSPAN IS A CROOK!
Every bubble makes smart, industrious people rich.

Who's getting rich from the "green energy" bubble? This will not last.

then the economy would really fall apart!! The military, social security, medicare, ALL federal departments. The regions that heavily employ federal employees like maryland, virginia, DC, states with military bases would collapse. Is that really what you want?
