Virtually all packaged products have a label identifying the contents of the product. But, few look at it, because they do not understand what is displayed. One thing that could easily be done, on that label, in large numbers, put a score from 0-100, reflecting the nutritional value of the contents. People can understand that kind of rating. It doesn't mean they have to buy a high rated product, but at least they could have an easy method to determine a higher value product. To be sure, there are a lot of manufacturers that would not like it to be so easy, but it may induce them to do something about what they pass off as food.
The problem is, "they" who would be rating products are the ones allowing us to be poisoned to begin with. In addition, the product labeling now doesn't require all additives to be listed ... such as "artificial flavors" (which includes a lot of nasties).

But even more discouraging is the fact that people are ignoring what is already generally understood to be harmful additives like Aspartame, MSG, HFC's etc. People seem to have no concern about swilling down diet cokes and fluoridated water by the barrel full.

As I see it, what you put in your body is YOUR responsibility ... something few people seem to take seriously enough, because they DON'T UNDERSTAND what is really being done to them is purposeful poisoning of the food and water supplies.

Here is a new report of researchers advocating adding lithium to the water now:

Dr. Georgiou: Health Care Innovations 2009 (http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/dpp/buzz/georgiou-health-december-16-2009 - broken link)

The issue is that people need to wake up and realize that "they" are not going to be "mommy and daddy" and help people become more healthy ... "they" are the ones poisoning us.

The problems go far deeper than being fat and unhealthy. We are literally being poisoned purposely, and we seem to stupid to 1) recognize it, or 2) take the matter into our own hands and say no.

And for all of the sheep out there that think this is a conspiracy theory:

I am not a fan of conspiracy theories, but there are people, on a small scale, that are actually doing something to help people make informed choices.
