I'm not at all cocky and I wish the R's would stop talking about how many seats they are going to take.

They could still blow it. Even if they don't take over, they will gain enough seats to stop some of his agenda.

Of course, the narrative from the press could be intentional as well, so if the GOP doesn't gain as many seats as THEY said they would, they will crow that the GOP blew it.

What scares me is the time after the election and before the new members take office.

I think they will ram all kinds of things though and never look back.
