It is sad that we can't continue those discussions on constitution forever. So your claims are of no value beyond what we discuss here. Bring it up when we discuss something else, somewhere else. For now, we've got something you started. It deals with freedom of press. Do you consider that just a selective part of the constitution? If you do, please tell me the rest of it.

Or, do you consider this howling and whining from your end, since you're opposed to free speech?

But, it doesn't surprise me. An organization like Wikileaks cannot exist in a conservative environment. Taliban would hate it as much in their country as would conservatives here in America. It would be long gone if conservatives had their way. That is exactly the attempt being made by the right wingers, right now.

And to think we discuss oppression of free speech in some other countries. Hypocrites.
Ghost, I see that you weren't around during WW II when the government used all those Loose lips, sink ships and other things like that. Of course, if some clown put out info marked secret he would have been in a world of hurt. Somehow I don't really think you understand that sometimes freedom of press can be used against us in ways that we just can't accept. Yep, you do support the Constitution all over the place when it serves the left but when it doesn't it appears to me that like the rest of the progs you don't like it.

Hey, how about the amnesty memo that is circulating in DC? Do you think that the administration people doing those things are honest and protected by the 1st Amendment? They are proposing an end run around Congress to pass legislation and that is as illegal and unconstitutional as you can get. You surely are all for their rights as citizens though, I bet.

And to many the Constitution gets in their way because they want to take more power than it allows. Those would be the progs of the nation.

Yes it did hurt our efforts and endangered the lives of those assisting our military.

All of those who are in favor of a complete transparency would probably love to see published the President's motor brigade complete route next time he leaves the Whitehouse.

That is the type of information the little dude leaked out. He leaked meetings, who they were with, where they were held and the routes they took to get there. He set 'em all up for a fall. With friends like that who need enemies.

This is not something I want to read about in a news story. Secret meetings are not news in this case. They are secrete to save lives, not cover up Obama taking a nap, while important documents are needed to be signed so as to proceed with an important project.
