I witness people accusing Black Men of doing a crime and it was found to be un-true. There's always two sides of a story. In most cases people will believe a so call victim over a Black male the majority of the time. What that guy did was horrible and I feel for the victims family. I don't believe his employer's was telling the truth about racism not existing at that workplace.

Recent Liars that almost had a innocent Black suspect arrested for nothing.

1. Bonnie Sweeten

2. Susan Smith

3. Sergeant Robert Ralston

And the thousands of innocent people executed or are in jail based on a lie.

It's definitely possible, but to believe that requires that one lives in a fantasy world. The reality is much harsher. While I believe race relations has improved from the time of the civil rights movement, I think it's naive to think that there are not people out there who judge/treat others based on their skin color.

Yes, and it is not ONLY black people that suffer this...When you realize that, you might open your eyes a bit!

This is also a reason to always be alert and armed. If, as I suspect, the company forbid guns in the workplace, IMHO, they have full responsibility for protecting everyone they disarmed. The company owes the families of the slain for the company's negligence.
Do you know the profit margins on beer? It is very small, especially in the State of Ct and I know as my family owned a liquor business for years and HD was our main distributor. So every little bit matters.

One thing that many stores do it ring their own beer, which means buying suitcases of beer when they are posted off, storing them, buying a roll of plastic rings and breaking the suitcase up into 6 packs since it saves them money this way. It is also illegal to do this as you are repackaging a product but stores still do it. So every little bit matters.

When you have an industry that is so heavily government regulated, every little bit matters. It is one of the reasons why it is such a dirty business and after my Dad died, we couldn't sell our store fast enough.

For you to say that the company owes the families is just ridiculous too. If the company wanted to do a mental evaluation of each employee, would you say that is invasive? That is pretty much the only way to determine the saneness of an individual and their propensity towards a crime like this. Having a law that says no guns on premise and then breaking that law yourself would be hypocritical.

I have always argued that humans being behave like human beings, regardless of skin color. However, some people keep trying to tell me that people are more irresponsible, have kids of wedlock more, more lazy and more violent BECAUSE OF SKIN COLOR. I try to tell them that its not skin color, but the reaction to being mistreated BASED UPON ones skin color. If scerio 5 is what you TRULY believe, then you must know that socioeconomic inquality in this nation, between the races, is not rooted in anything but the historical different treatment of the different races in this nation....because human beings will behave like human beings in REACTION to being treated a certain way. Right?

There it goes again...You will not/refuse to place personal responsibility on this nutjob..

Tell me, when a WHITE pedophile rapes a young girl/boy, where do you place blame? Do you blame his race, do you excuse his actions because most pedophiles are white, do we allow the excuse that he did it because someone did it to him? No, you blame the pedophile and take no excuses! At least I blame the pedophile and take no excuses..

Let me just say that a lot of scenarios are possible here. There is no scenario mentioned that can totally be discredited. We simply do not know at this point in time. However, we do live in racially charged times. The election of Obama and the feeling by many that the need to "Take back America" or that they are loosing the country is increasing racial tension. You have people like Glenn Beck telling his audience that Obama does not like white people and hence by implication that Obama will take from whites to give to blacks and minorities under the trojan horse of socialism.

Currently there is a serial killer in Flint Michigan who has stabbed to death 5 black men and have stabbed and critically injured 13 overall since May. Only one new agency reported his description....which was a muscular white guy.

No...with young kids of my own....I want to understand what triggers people to do this. With that knowlege it helps prevents or reduces the number of such incidents. It also can tell you the signs of people that you should look out for around your kids. Knowlege is power and ignorance is dangerous. Its important to understand. Seeking to understand and explain is NOT condoning. Many of you seem not to understand this.

Then how about we seek to understand the PERSON..Not the persons race? There is evil in all colors, idiots of all races, and to rely on biased facts(meant to excuse his actions, because lets face it, that's what the family is doing) is wrong..I have not seen any other "reasoning" about this boys actions in this thread other than "poor black guy got harassed"...

Has anyone considered he might have suffered depression, or some other mental disease.???Nope! It is all about race..and that only serves to further divide people as a whole...

So its wrong for us to take into considerations his self described motives? Is it not understanding the PERSON to give weight to his stated reasoning to why he was doing this? I bet if he called 911 and told the people he did what he did because he was a personal failure and mad at the world and envious of the managers and union reps at the compnay......you would have no problem with us focusing on that. I think most people only have a problem because he said he did it because of racism against him. The racism pill is a pill that whites don't like to swallow.

The issue of race in America is like a sore that cannot heal properly, if it is ever going to, because its kept covered up and air cannot get to it. America needs to take the bandage off and air out racism so that it can heal properly....if its going to. White folks are playing a lot of mental games Hell bent on denial and trying to conflat black reaction to white racism as being the moral equivalent of white racism.
