Iran's Ahmadinejad survives blast near motorcade

TEHRAN, Aug 4 (Reuters) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad survived an attack with a homemade explosive device on his motorcade during a visit to the western city of Hamadan on Wednesday, a source in his office said. The source said Ahmadinejad's convoy was targeted as he was travelling from Hamadan's airport to give a speech in a local sports arena and the president was unhurt but others had been injured in the blast.

I wonder how the world would have changed if he had been eliminated?

A homemade explosive. That was the key word. Could it be that his own countrymen don't love him all that much?

He'll try to blame it on the US, that's how desperate he is to get his own people on his side.

After the rigged elections last year when hundreds of young people were killed in riots, he's a hated man at home.

He preemptively blamed it on the Jews.

"The president’s office and official Iranian media sites quickly denied reports of the attack, which came just days after Mr. Ahmadinejad warned that "stupid Zionists" had hired mercenaries to assassinate him."

Pink Floyd Anthem Now Iranian Freedom Cry

Roger Waters, the former Pink Floyd frontman and writer of the band's anthem, "Another Brick in the Wall (Part II)", is permitting two exiled Iranian brothers full use of the song to protest the current Iranian regime. The brothers and their band, Blurred Vision, remade the song with a few changes to reflect the Islamic Republic's crackdown on dissent. Their version of the original, which was released in 1979, the same year the Islamic Revolution overtook Iran, replaces the chorus with "Mullahs, leave those kids alone. Hey Ayatollah, leave those kids alone!"

One thing for sure he will terrorize the Jewish communities that are still left there.
Some people will go to jail, be tortured, and some one will "confess" to be a Zionist.
About the question of the OP. Nothing will change. They need to get rid of the Mullahs.
The Mullahs are trying to create Armageddon to bring their hidden mahadi back to life so all will become Muslims.
check out this link this is about trying to create positive change in Iran.
